About Us

TamilNadu Agarwal Samaj (TAS) was the result of a few visionaries who of the community, and was established on December 20th, 2009 at Erode, with a vision to bring members of all Agarwal Samajs in TamilNadu & Kerala together under one platform. The idea was to promote activities like Sports and culture and to promote marriages within the community.

Shri. Hari Shankar Bhavsingha was the Founder President of the Association, Ajay Singhania was the Founder secretary, both hailing from Erode. Shri. SajjanJi Rungta, Chennai, was the Vice president.

The Tamil Nadu Agarwal Samaj was initially the coming together of 6 Samajs, and as time passed, more Samajs joined, and today is a federation of 9 Samajs, spread over TamilNadu and Kerala.

The 9 Member Samajs are:

2. Agarwal Samaj, Coimbatore

3. Agarwal Sabha trust, Salem

4. Shri Agarwal Sangh, Erode

5. Agarwal Samaj, Madurai

6. Agarwal Samaj, Sivakasi

7. Agarwal Samaj, Tirupur

8. Agarwal Sabha, Chennai

9. Agarwal Yuva Mandal, Cochin

Mission

Promote friendship and cooperation between members of the Agarwal Community by focusing on 4 major areas:

✔ Sports

✔ Business

✔ Marriage

TAS encourages its member Samajs to organize events based in the above themes in their respective locations and involve all the member Samajs from other locations in the events. This helps building up friendship between members, triggering better relations and cooperation between members.
